With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Liebelt of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on August 28, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold W. Liebelt and Lydia Liebelt (Schindler); his grandson Spec. Michael Layne Hermanson; his sons-in-law, Dennis Mittleider and Layne Hermanson; and his siblings, Lloyd (late Naomi Liebelt) and Beverly Gessele.

He is survived by: his wife Betty June Reimche; his children, Scharlotta Hermanson (Lottie) of Orlando, FL, Kandis Johnson (Richard) of Lake City, FL, Michelle (Chuck Spangler), Steven Liebelt (Eva) of Bismarck, Michael Liebelt of Lake City, FL and Kerry Liebelt (Kirsten) of Maple Grove, MN; his siblings, Marlys Whiteside and Myron Liebelt (Diane) of California; and his brother-in-law Ronald Reimche (Carol) of Harvey, ND. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
