He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Schmidt and Bertha Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Ken Vollmer. He is survived by: his wife Rosanne Allmaras; his children, Brielle Holland (Dan), Erica Segelstrom (Justin) and Nathan; his grandchildren, Gentry, Eli, Ella Holland, Ethan Schmidt, Ava and Breien Segelstrom; and his siblings, Marilyn Vollmer of Bismarck, ND, Jane Murry (Tex) of Hastings, MN, Bonnie Voigt (Mike) of Menoken, ND, Steve (Cheri) of Grand Island, NE and Dean (Leanne) of Mandan, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an organization of your choice in his honor. Or the family will donate to organizations supporting Dave's passions.
