She is survived by: her children, Harold Hege and Tomica Hege Kirby; her son-in-law James Kirby; her grandchildren, Piragio Thompson, Devonte'Hege, Ni'Sheika Sapp and Ja'Kqwann Thompson; her nieces, Cassandra Sales and Careka Williamson; her cousins, Harvey Barber and Maria Strickland; her goddaughter Kim Scales; her close friend Pamela Young; and her friend Roosevelt Hayes. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
