He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom McCarthy and Joan McCarthy; and his father-in-law John O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Christina O'Connor McCarthy; his children, Madison Lee of Winston-Salem, NC., Liam Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC. and Collin Jonathan of Winston-Salem, NC.; his mother-in-law Bernadette O'Connor of Lewisville, NC; his siblings-in-law, John O'Connor (Susan) of Charleston, SC, Katie O'Connor (Pete Engle) of Winston-Salem and Colleen O'Connor of Lewisville; and his nieces, Ashley Ann (SheShe) of Charleston, SC and Mackenzie of Lewisville, NC.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.
