She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherrill Smith and Lucille McDaniel Smith; her husband Phillip Sylvester "Pee Wee" Jones; her son Steve Jones; and her brothers, Jim and Kenneth Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Tim Jones (Donna) of Mooresville and Mike Jones of Clemmons; and her grandson Austin Jones.
