With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Gentle of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Sams and Walter Sams; her husband Clarence Gentle; her daughter Carolyn Peoples; her grandson Sam Miller; her brothers, J. W. Sams and Bill Sams; and her sister-in-law Barbara Sams.
She is survived by: her former husband Sam Peoples; her daughter Brenda Miller (John); her grandchildren, Chris Miller and Melissa Carissimi (Nick); her great grandchild Sam Carissimi; her brothers, Dave Sams (Daphine) and Bob Sams (Rose); and her sister-in-law Janice Sams.
