He is survived by: his wife Alice Jane Gardner Smith; his sons, Ryan Smith (Amy) of Michigan, Jason Smith (Jill) of Missouri and Jeremy Smith (Kylee) of Ohio; his brother John Smith (Susan) of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Wes, Louisa, Jayden, Zoie, Landen, Trenten, Mezlie, Kinslie, Sophie, Braxten, Bennett and Reggie.
