He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Teague Sr. and Ruby Kennedy Teague; his wife Carolyn Charles Teague; and his siblings, Jerry Lemons, Margie Whitman and Lana Bartley.

He is survived by: his sister Jeloma "Jae" Myers (Andy). He is also survived by nephew the he considered his son, along with many nieces and nephews.
