He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Robert Wright and Clyde Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Anthony Wright and Carol Smith Wright; his brother Ronald Jr.; his sister-in-law Hayeon; his nephews, Tre and Hudson; his grandmothers, Mattie Wright and Audrey Smith; his aunts and uncles, Gregory Smith (Katrina Smith), Roz Farmer (Brent Farmer), Jeffery Smith (Lisa Smith), Randy, Robbin Hinton (Reginald Hinton) and Connie Berry (Brian); and his goddaughter Hailie Noel Hatton. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Due to stoppages caused by the pandemic Michael quickly transitioned and obtained his CDL license and finished his work career as an over the road truck driver.
