With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marianne Dubois Thompson (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hallam DuBois and Mary Angela Seggerson DuBois; her husband William H. Thompson; and her son Matthew K. Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, William R. Thompson and Mark P. Thompson (David Chan); her grandson Matthew K. Thompson, Jr. (Lacey Dennis); her great grandchildren, Vivian and Ava; her sister Patricia Clements; and her close friend Miss Trenae Mitchell of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews.
