He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Everett Osborn and Helen Clark Osborn; his wife Claire; his siblings, Clark Alden Osborn and Marilyn Jay Osborn; and his son Sunny Mac Osborn.

He is survived by: his children, Beverly Amick (Doug) of Winston Salem, Lester Osborn (Patricia) of Waxhaw, NC and Ernie Osborn (Nancy) of Winston Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Ashley Jefferson (Doug), Salem Fulton (Noah), Blake Osborn (Mackenzie), Westin Osborn (Molly), Ross Osborn, Clark Osborn and Caroline Osborn; his great grandchildren, Hadley Claire Jefferson, Margaret Jefferson and Bennett Jefferson; and his sister Dawn Knights (Bruce) of Goldsboro, NC.. He is also survived by wife and family and friends.
