It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lena Bunker Stack of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron D. Bunker and Maude Key Bunker; her husband Ivy Lee Stack, Jr.; and her siblings, Eloise Atkins, Marie Snow, Nonnie East and Wayne Bunker.
She is survived by: her children, Linda McDow of Winston-Salem and Michael Stack of Yadkinville; her granddaughters, Lindsey Stack, Erin McDow, Alyssa Bates and Brittany Stack; her sisters, Ruby East of Mount Airy and Byrona Atkins of Mount Airy; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Wrenn of Winston-Salem, Shirley Wylie of Kernersville and Mary Ruth Stack of Kernersville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
