He is survived by: his sister Kathie Sebastian; his wife Angie Stacy Bovender; his children, Joseph Ross Bovender III (Angela C.) of Clemmons and Christie Martin (Forrest) of Walburg; his grandchildren, Hunter Martin (Whitley), Tanner Martin (Haley), Alex Bovender, Josh Bovender, Anna Bovender and Madison Chandler; his great grandchildren, Raelyn, Kase, Sage and Brayden; his mother-in-law Clara Farrell; his sister-in-law Jan Stacy; and his niece Danielle Russ.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Kidney or Diabetes Foundation.
