He was predeceased by: his parents, Jones Alexander Marlin and Alma Lucky Marlin; his siblings, John Henry Marlin, Larry Alexander Marlin and Mary Anne Turner; his son Jeramie Alexander Marlin; and his siblings-in-law, William Campbell, Dorothy Marlin and Christine Marlin.
He is survived by: his wife Mazie Lee Capers Marlin; his son Jarrett Braxton Marlin (Talitha Brown Marlin); his siblings, Alma Campbell, Rosetta Dennis (Ronald), Debbie Ann Gary (Kevin), Isaiah Marlin and Robert Lee Marlin; and his sister-in-law Theresa Rucker (Artis). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and friends.
