He is survived by: his children, James Grissom (Katherine), Mary Fowler (Donald) and Jerald Dean Grissom, Jr. (Nancy); his grandsons, Andrew Grissom (Lauren), Michael Fowler, Jonathon Grissom, Jay Grissom and William Grissom; and his siblings, Jim Grissom (Kara) and Alma Jones (Charles).
