Jeannette Hortense Lanier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeannette Hortense Lanier (Winston Salem, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy and Ethel Johnson Lanier; her brothers, Richard, Lanue (Rocky) and Wayne Lanier; and her siblings-in-law, Buddy Eisenbraun, Don Brendle and Nancy Lanier.
She is survived by: her sisters, Theresa Sykes (Gene), Faye Brendle and Kaye Smith (Larry); and her sisters-in-law, Marge and Pam Lanier. She is also survived by thirteen nephews; four nieces; 33 great nieces and nephews and 12 great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Bear Closet at Oak Forest United Methodist Church, 11461 Old Hwy 52, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 or Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
