James Richard Cranford Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Richard Cranford of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Acie Thomas Cranford and Delia Agnes Hailey; his wife Bertie Oneita Cranford; and his brother Bill Cranford. He is survived by: his children, Danny E. Cranford (Vickie) of Winston-Salem, NC, Gary L. Cranford (Ann) of Sharpsburg, GA, Linda C. Stanley of Clemmons, NC and Jan C. Rowan (Mike) of Panama City, FL; and his siblings, Barbara Swaim and Jack Cranford of Maryland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
