James Delano Campbell Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Delano Campbell Sr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rance Campbell and Pansy Mae Metz Campbell; his wife Mozelle Campbell; his stepdaughter Claudette Leigh Poindexter (Gary); and his grandson Adam Poindexter.
He is survived by: his children, James "Jamie" D. Campbell, Jr. (Laurie), Adele Bowman (Mark) and Sherri Bodenheimer (Vern); and his stepson George Randall Hoffman (Cathy). He is also survived by grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the VA Hospital in your area in Jim's memory to continue his legacy of faith and community.
