He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert C. Jr. Watson and Frances Oakley Watson of Carrboro; and his parents-in-law, Frank Reid and Merlene Reid. He is survived by: his wife Pat Lambeth Watson; his stepson Todd Lambeth (Gia); his stepgranddaughter Ana Lambeth of Wilmington; and his sisters, Kathy Watson Waters (Ken) of Raleigh and Vivian Watson Dickerson of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.
