He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferris Hancock and Nannie Brown Hancock; his wife Mildred Whitaker Hancock; and his son Ronnie Wagner. He is survived by: his son Michael Hancock (Robin Brown) of Winston-Salem; his granddaughters, Angela Gordy (Tom) of Mocksville and Jamie Wagner (Gena Turner) of Winston-Salem; his great grandchildren, Corey and Shelby Gordy; and his siblings, Dennis Hancock (Linda), David Hancock (Melissa), Kate Goforth, Martha Peacock and Wanda Moser.
