We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2023, at the age of 82, Doris Ann Vault Buchanan of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Walker Vaught and Rosa Heldreth Vaught; her husband Morris "Buck" Buchanan; and her brother Dickie Vaught. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie; her son-in-law Mark Alexander of Winston Salem, NC; her son Kevin; her daughter-in-law Karen Buchanan of Aiken, SC; her grandchildren, Ross Alexander, Connor Buchanan and Eva Buchanan; her siblings, Ronnie Vaught (Vicki) and Linda Porter (Jerry); her aunt Janie Alley; and her cousin Norma Jean Armbrister. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
