David Lester Pegg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2023, at the age of 75, David Lester Pegg (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Lester Pegg to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Todd Pegg and Frances Wiggs Pegg; his sister Lisa Pegg Stockard; and his brother-in-law Matthew Stockard. He is survived by: his uncle James Wiggs (John Newman) of Rocky Mount, NC.
Almost immediately, David was hired by St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem as Director of Music, a post he retained-directing the choir remotely during the pandemic and later in person--until just before his passing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be made to the Music Fund of David's beloved St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 2690 Fairlawn Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
