He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas J. Lee and Mary Lee (Davis); and his sisters, Mary Frances Lamb and Jeanette "Becky" Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Zelma Lee Bailey Lee; his sons, Charles Lee, Jr. (Lynne) of Mocksville and David Lee (Kim Lindsay) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Anna Lee (Adam Culler) of Winston-Salem and Chad Lee (Cady); and his great grandchild Parker of Mocksville.
