He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Davis and Laugenia Davis; his wife Elizabeth Gibson Davis; and his siblings, Joel Davis, Ygenia Davis and Charles Davis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Davis of Detroit Michigan, Delores Davis Peguese of Winston Salem, NC, Olia Mae Kennedy (Willie) of Winston Salem, NC and Leroy Davis (Pearlie) of Winston Salem, NC; and his friend Rev. Jimmy Wright. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, countless relatives.
