It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Goforth Lemons of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack M. Goforth, Sr. (Bertie Dunnagan Goforth) and Bernice. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Delk (Ronald) of Winston-Salem, Cathy Gohlke (Dan) of Lovettsville, Virginia, David Lounsbury (Loisann) of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania and Daniel Lounsbury (Randi Eaton) of Advance; and her brother Wilbur Goforth (Jane) of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and four nephews.
