He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Lindberg Haley, Sr. and Stella Mae Ledbetter Haley; his siblings, Elbert Lindberg Haley, Jr. and Rebecca Haley; and his former wife Joanna Haley.
He is survived by: his wife Sonya Watson; his children, Dawn Johnson of Winston-Salem, Cindy Wilson of King, Shawn Haley and David Johnson; and his sisters, Reta, Betsy and Martha. He is also survived by grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
