It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacksie Sims Maye of Wingate, North Carolina, born in Waxhaw, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Jackson Sims and Annie Carter Sims; her husband Coy Maye; and her son Tim Maye. She is survived by: her children, Roger Maye (Mary), Janet Mackey (Rick), Ervin Maye and Donna Cook (Bill); and her daughter-in-law Kathy Maye. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
