She was predeceased by: her parent Baxter Howie; her former husbands, Leo Max Smith and Max Little; and her sons, Rick Smith and Everett Smith.

She is survived by: her parent Leona Howie; her children, Andy Smith (Kathy) and Beth Edwards (Robert); and her brother Bill Howie (Modene). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
