He is survived by: his wife Donna Gayle; his children, Gary Effers Jr. (Karen) of Montana and Jennifer Johnson (Matt) of Greenville; his brother Karl Effers (Colorado); his grandchildren, Gunnar and Tanner of Greenville; and his nieces, Sherry Sorrenson (Illinois) and Laurie Effers (Colorado). He is also survived by many friends and his wife's many, many cousins.
