As Maria departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Maria. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigisfredo Troiano and Carmela Freda; her husband Walter Furlani; and her grandson Andrew Del Prete. She is survived by: her sister Frances Troiano; her children, Catherine Furlani, Robert Furlani of Cary, NC and Linda Furlani (Michael Calenti) of Hyde Park, NY.; and her granddaughters, Gina Del Prete (Brad Bleakney) and Lucia Del Prete. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
