She was predeceased by: her parents, Robey Davis and Betty Jean Greene of Morganton, NC.. She is survived by: her husband William F. King; her children, Jennifer King Coleman (Edward) and Tate King Stephens (Hamp); her grandchildren, Ward Coleman (Mackenzie), Frances Coleman, Sarah Stephens and Trey Stephens; her siblings, Danny Greene (Sheila), Beth Greene Riddle (Iverson) and David Greene (Lisa); her nieces and nephews, Shane Greene, Will Riddle, JD Riddle, Davis Greene, Terra Greene and Emma Greene; and her in-laws, Tommy, Ann King and Beth King Thompson (late Rocke Thompson).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (125 S 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
Memorial contributions may be made to the King Trust Fund at First Presbyterian Church or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
