She is survived by: her children, Walter Elliot, Cathy Phillips (Donovan), Ralph Whitaker (Denise), Willie Jakes, Tony Jakes, Jennifer Rascoe (Anthony), Andre Jakes and Spring Whitaker; her siblings, Betty Gray, Diane Agosto (Nacho), Shelia Keys, Cynthia Gibbs and Kenneth Gray; and her sister-in-law Emma Gray.
