She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Scott and Lucy Scott; and her husband Charlie Bowen. She is survived by: her children, Charlene Dunlap (Tyler) of Raleigh, N. C. and Steve Bowen (Amanda) of Cary, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Krista Yanez of Denver, CO and Michael Dunlap of Raleigh, NC..
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Williamston Church of Christ or Samaritan's Purse.
