He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward Odom, Sr. and Rachel Faye Burkett Coltrain; his sister Sheila Faye Odom; and his father-in-law Phil Kerley. He is survived by: his brother Carl Edward "Eddie" Odom, Jr.; his children, Lyndsey Odom Lathrop, Nicholas Garrett Odom and Kalynn Orr; his son-in-law Jon; his grandchild Baby Girl Lathrop; his mother-in-law Lola Williams; his stepsisters, Eddie Coltrain, Sylvia Howe (T. D.) and Nina Yontz; his mother-in-law Kay Kerley; and also Darla Williams Odom. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
