It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Whitley Jerdan of Williamston, North Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Herbert S. Whitley, Jr. of Williamston, NC.; and her grandparents, F. B., Guendolen Whitley, Herbert S. Whitley, Sr. and Margaret R. Whitley.
She is survived by: her adoptive son Wyatt of Cape Coral; her mother Jane W. Cummings (James) of Raleigh; her aunt Julia W. Melvin (Robert) of Milford, PA; and her uncle Steven C. Whitley (Dianne) of Grimesland, NC.
In lieu of flowers and because of Jane's love for cats, memorial contributions to your local SPCA in her honor would surely make Jane Bonner smile.
