He was predeceased by: his father Herman Stout. He is survived by: his children, James A. Stout, Jr. of Williamston, Eric Wayne Stout of Seaside Heights, NJ, Bruce Allen Stout of Toms River, NJ, June Evelyn Smith of Williamston and Janet Lee Fredricks of Wilson. He is also survived by grandchildren, 12, great grandchildren, 26 and great great grandchildren.
