Iris Kirkland Bowen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Kirkland Bowen of Williamston, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Kirkland and Lillie Kirkland; her son David Eli Bowen; her siblings, David Kirkland, Juanita Pearce and Martha Mills; and her nephew Louis "Sonny" Pearce.

She is survived by: her pet Oliver; her stepdaughter Cathy Critcher (James); her daughter-in-law Lisa Bowen; her grandchildren, Courtney Bowen, Erin Bowen, Laura Broda (Matt) and Amy Sarkisian (Grant); her great grandchildren, David Baeza, Emmett, Meryl Broda, Celeste and Bennett Sakisian; her nieces and nephews, Jane Hubble (Walter), Joan Long (Steve), Brian Mills (Elaine), Anison Kirkland, Richard "Dickie" Pearce (Karen) and Patrick Pearce (Rhonda); her great-niece Katie Mills; and also Brooks Mills.
