He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Furstenberg and Rosemary Kearney Furstenberg; and his sister Karen Sakolsky. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hollis Furstenberg; and his siblings, Jody Jackson of Ayden, Ted Furstenberg of Ayden, Cathy Bell of Effingham, SC, Alfie Blanford of Greenville and Tommie Apgar of Greensboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
