She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Derrick Taylor and Gladys Mizelle Taylor; her spouse Thomas Burris Brandon, Jr.; her sister Maude Taylor Foster of Norfolk; her cousin Whit C. Purvis, Jr.; and her uncle Cecil G Taylor (Pete).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Burris Brandon, III (Sandra) of Williamston, John and Elizabeth Brandon Sager (Laird) of Southern Shores; and her granddaughter Nancy Sharpe Rogerson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
