He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Stevenson and Ella Catherine Hayton Stevenson; and his siblings, Richard, James "Gabby" Stevenson, Martha Grubb, Joella Albano, Janice Griffin and Donna Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Stevenson; his children, Matthew Stevenson (Donna) of Spartanburg, SC and Kimberly Ewig (Michael) of Williamsburg, VA; his siblings, Butch Stevenson of Tazewell, VA, Alice Day of Burlington, NC and Deborah Mangus (Craig) of Bluefield, WV; his grandchildren, Rachel Sneed, Mason Stevenson and Olivia Davidson (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Hope, Brody Riley, Jensen Davidson and Owen Sneed.
