He is survived by: his son Matthew Sherman (Jennifer) of Wilkesboro; his grandson Seth Allen Sherman of Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Laura Ritter of Arizona, Melba Lucius of Tiffin, Karen Schubach (Tom) of Green Springs, Ohio and Rick Sherman of Tiffin.
