It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hillary Souther Jr. of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillary Clay Souther, Sr. and Letha Ann Souther; and his brothers-in-law, J. C. Parks and Jim O'Connell. He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Souther of North Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Frances Parks of Statesville, Linda Barnette (Billy) of North Wilkesboro, Ann O'Connell of North Wilkesboro, Roy Clay Souther (Jeanie) of Union Grove and Tony Sherrill Souther (Patricia) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
