It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Lea Hamby Sebastian of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover and Ruey Barnette Hamby; and her siblings, Mariness Triplett, Helen Dukes, Juanita Elledge, Geneva Cothren, Mozelle Jones, Mildred Grose, Hal Church, Wayne Church, Cecil Church, Warren Hamby and Arville Hamby.
She is survived by: her husband Oren Frederick Sebastian of Wilkesboro; her daughter Lesa Sebastian Cheek (Steve Gentry) of Wilkesboro; her grandson James Grayson Cheek of Wilkesboro; her great grandchild Sullivan Lee Nickles of North Wilkesboro; and her brother A. E. Hamby of North Wilkesboro.
