He is survived by: his wife Bettie Wyke Braswell; his children, Chris Braswell, MD of Mobile, AL, Fred Braswell (Janet) and Anne Braswell of Charlotte, NC; his stepchildren, Sandra Couch (Matt), Valerie Granade (Nelson) of Statesville, NC and Allen Wyke of Traphill, NC; his stepson-in-law Greg Dancho (Michelle) of Clemmons, NC; his half-sister Helen Jenkins of Clinton, TN.; his grandchildren, Mason (Ally), Madison Braswell, David Gray, Callie, Carson and Christopher; his stepgrandchildren, Bryant (RJ) of Emily, JD, Noah, Alex, Jaclyn and Nicholas; and also Jerry Evans. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
