He is survived by: his mother Guadalupe Rojo Mendiola of Mexico; his daughters, Adriene Denise Mendiola of Wilkesboro and Lisa Marie Mendiola (Christopher) of Charlotte, His; his girlfriend Maria D Gazca of Texas; his siblings, Cirila Mendiola of Greensboro, Marcela Mendiola of Mexico, Aurelia Mendiola (Lupe) of Wilkesboro, Alejandrina Mendiola (Miguel) of Texas, Juan Mendiola (Ofelia) of Sparta, Bacilio Mendiola of Wilkesboro and Agustin Mendiola (Maria) of Wilkesboro; and his grandchild De'Marion Aniceto Mendiola of Wilkesboro.
