We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2022, at the age of 89, Adeline Messick Turner of Wilkesboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Myrtle Barnett Messick; her husband D. E. Turner, Jr. (Tommy); her son Michael Turner; and her brothers, Harold Messick and Ernest Messick.

She is survived by: her son Alex Turner of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Allie Mitchum (Caleb) of Lincolnton and Aryn Turner of Wilmington; and her brother Arthur Messick (Gaynell) of Wilkesboro.

The family requests no flowers or food. Memorials may be made to Union United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Margie Pendry, 379 Knollwood Drive, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
