He is survived by: his parent Helen Dell Scott Pierce; his wife Cheryl Hokanson Pierce; his daughter Michelle P. Young (Ashley) of Durham; his sister Penny Pierce Linett (David) of Cape Cod, MA; and his grandchildren, Abby Young and Bowen Young.
