With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sybil Benton Geary (Whiteville, North Carolina), born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph L. Sholar and Annie Clyde Benton Sholar; her spouse John R. Geary, Jr.; and her sisters, Peggy Walton and Fran Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Ann Geary of Moapa, NV, Virginia Lee Geary and John Richard Geary III of Whiteville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
