Son, John C. Batten, III of Oak Island, N.C. , daughter, Tonya Batten of Morehead City, N.C. and a sister, Nancy Batten of Whiteville, N.C. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Whiteville Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Ray Yow and Dr. Ray Thigpen officiating .
