It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Lowrance (Whiteville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 18, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Jason Lynn Lowrance; and her siblings, Harrell Smith and Grace Ward. She is survived by: her parents, Adell Spivey Smith and Alfred Smith; her husband John Dewey Lowrance of Whiteville; her children, Lynn Penny Seward (Jon) of Colorado Springs, CO, Fonda Bost of Longs, SC and Les Bost (Debbie) of Whiteville; and her siblings, Nancy S. Duncan of Whiteville, J. L, Deborah S. Hinson of Whiteville, J. L and Betty B. Thompkins of Whiteville, J. L. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
